DAY 6 ANOTHER SEA DAY

We both had a good nights sleep so when we got up at 7:30 this morning we were ready to do whatever came our way. Met Jules and Rita at 8 for breakfast in the buffet and when we were finished we went to Michael's Club to have our cappucino for the finishing touch.

We had put our bathing suits on before we even left the cabin so we went to the solarium and basically except for lunch, bathroom breaks and some pool time we never left the seats They were definitely at a premium. We probably should have sold them.

As usual we went to the cocktail hour and then dinner waiting to see if we would have more problems or if things would improve. Improve they did. We brought our bottle of Asti to the table and they switched it for a cold one. Believe it or not we were out of the dining room at 8 PM and that was drinking our coffee leisurely.

I was not impressed with the show and since we were sitting in the front we wouldn't dare walk out. When that was over I had to make a pit stop in the casino so I lost 10 dollars in about 10 minutes and moved to another machine and put in another 10. It was a machine I had never played before but treated me very good. On a .50 spin I won 88.85
and Enid said let's get out of here and I was more than willing Soon they will recalculate the machines and they will try and get all the payouts back.

Tomorrow we will be in Port Stanley in the Faulklands and have to be up at 6 AM.

  1. Hi Gladys

Glad to hear all is going well and the casino is being kind to you....unlike the restaurant manager. Tell him to find a plank and walk it! Great to be able to follow along with you and the gang, love to all
